Day 3 of Fashion Innovation Week

Swiss-Israeli FashionTech Group

FashionTech Ticino Valley connects with Israel Investors and entrepreneur delegation

Israel is one of the most innovative digital/technology hubs in the world, boasting the R&D programs of numerous worldwide names. To date, over 300 multinationals including Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon have tapped into Israeli innovation by setting up local R&D labs in the country to work on their most cutting-edge products and “open innovation” strategies.

This digital prowess has not gone unnoticed in Switzerland. In 2019, Swiss Israel Day, organized by the Swiss Israeli Association brought together leading Israeli brands and institutional representatives to fact/find and build collaborations, but there are numerous other initiatives underway too, especially in high-innovation sectors such as blockchain, Fintech and – of course – fashion.

With Swiss Israeli FashionTech Group included as part of the 2020 fashion Innovation Week (playing host to over 1200 attendees) Netcomm Suisse aims to build on the already growing ecosystem of Swiss-Israeli collaboration, leverage the connections and mutual interests of theese two highly-advanced and innovative regions and generate mutual opportunities for the best of  breed Swiss companies and their Israeli counterparts. Stakeholders and participants range from political voices to technology companies and from major brands/retailers to start-ups and scale-ups.
