After completing her academic studies, Jacqueline Ruedin Rüsch embarked on a banking career which, over 15 years, allowed her to cover a series of managerial roles in several areas of banking. In 2011 she crowned her life-long dream of becoming an entrepreneur by founding Privilège Management SA in Lugano. In 2016 Privilège opened a branch in Zurich. Jacqueline’s passion for innovation and her constant search for new challenges drove her to expand Privilège’s activities in venture capital in 2013. Since then she has dedicated a lot of her time looking for new investment opportunities, sharing ideas and experiences and talking to entrepreneurs in order to understand and identify the key ingredients that determine a company’s success. In 2016 she decided to share the opportunities created by venture capital to selected investors by launching Privilège’s first early stage venture capital fund, which is now completely invested. At the beginning of 2019 a first closing of a second fund, which is still open to new investors, has been launched.
Jacqueline loves traveling, learning and staying in touch with people who are positive and energetic. She also believes that challenges should be welcomed, not shunned, because behind every challenge there is an opportunity.
