Rising to the challenge of digital

Two days of creative innovation for the Ticino fashion Valley

 

Universities are hotbeds of bright ideas, so why not gather those into a single space and bring in the powerful machinery of business that can bring the best of those ideas to fruition? This is the concept behind the Digital Creativity Challenge, organized by NetComm Suisse Association, the Dagorà business hub community and international brand LaMartina along with six leading universities.

The event will take place over two days, from April 4th to 5th 2019 and is hosted by the Agire Foundation in Lugano.

The aim is simple: teams of students from the six participating universities (SDA Bocconi, Crea – School of Communication arts & digital marketing, Usi – Universitá della Svizzera Italiana, University of Lucerne and SUPSI- Politecnico di Milano) will generate ideas and business plans for digital concepts for the LaMartina brand.

The groups will be assigned office space and materials and will delve into their own creativity to find innovative solutions and products that could have a viable impact on brand digitalization in the real world. After two days of intense effort, they will pitch their ideas to a jury made up of experts from the Agire Foundation, LaMartina, university leaders and even external investors.

The challenge is part of a week-long series of events which make up the Fashion Innovation Week 2019, held in Lugano and now in its second edition.
