The 2019 edition of the Fashion Innovation Week promises a program full of events, seminars, networking and a holistic approach to innovation in the field of fashion. Building on the success of the first ever event of its kind last year, which brought together 1000 visitors, over 100 C-Level business leaders and over 120 start-up firms, the 2019 edition aims to do even better this year.
NetComm Suisse is proud to announce its continued partnership with the Fashion Innovation Week scheduled in Lugano from 1st April to 5th April 2019, organized by DAGORÀ. The five-day event includes seminars, workshops, side events and this year’s Fashion Innovation Award promoted by Loomish. It promises to again be a vibrant series of meetings, investment opportunities and spaces to develop and disseminate innovative ideas that will influence the local industry in the coming years, with one goal: to make Lugano the European hub of digital innovation in fashion.
Several leading luxury fashion retailers and brands are involved in the event, not least Bally. THE 2019 FASHION INNOVATION WEEK PROGRAM
Monday April 1st: the main event of the week, the Fashion Meets Innovation event is a fixture of the FashionTech calendar and regularly hosts over 1000 delegates, speakers and visitors.
Tuesday April 2nd: the Fashion Innovation Award, a closed-door event where selected start-up and scale-up companies get to pitch to an international audience of brands and investors.
Wednesday April 3rd: another closed-door event featuring political and business leaders, aimed at discussing the shape innovation should take in the coming years.
Thursday April 4th & 5th: the FashionTech sustainability Challenge invites student groups from the USI and Supsi universities to invent, develop and present a technological solution for brands on the theme of sustainability.
